Getting Ready For the Princess, Spiderman and Wicked Witches

Decorations of ghosts, goblins, witches are popping up amid the NO STRs! signs throughout the neighborhood. This is a good indicator that we can start focusing on one of our favorite holidays of the year.

We have been hard at work planning for the GDA’s Halloween Under The Oaks event again this year: trick-or-treat houses along a designated route have been secured and festivities for a family fun party are being finalized. This year, the Garden District Association’s event will be on Halloween night, rather than the weekend before. So bring out the costumes for Monday, October 31. Trick or Treat begins at 5:30 and the family party starts at 7 at Tina and Deryk Jones’ beautiful yard again.

Tickets are now on sale online and via snail mail. All ticket purchasers will receive the map for the route and entry bracelets for the party. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Many thanks to the 25+ homeowners who have agreed to help us this year as T&T houses and to the Jones’ for the party for us.
