On January 2, 2017 approx 12:30 am, the victim was using the wifi at Black & Gold laundry in the 2500 block of Carondelet when two black males (young twenties approximately 5’7″ 140lbs. wearing sagging jeans and hoodie) approached him from Carondelet St. (west). One of the men produced a small frame silver revolver and said “give me all your xxxx” The victim quickly complied and the individuals left on foot (south ) to Saint Charles.

The victim flagged down a GDSD offier on patrol moments after. Supervisors and NOPD were called . GDSD took the initial report and three other officers scattered to begin searching.

A GDSD officer stayed with the victim throughout questioning and once he was calm he was then escorted to his nearby residence.
