The Association has received notice that Connecting Express, LLC has purchased the former Music Exchange building on Louisiana and Magazine and is planning to open a seafood restaurant at this location. As required by law, the owners will be holding public meeting to gather concerns from neighbors before their application can proceed with the city. A Conditional Use process will be followed, thus a public hearing will be help on this matter before the City Planning Commission at a later date. This meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 3 at 4pm at Joey K’s, 3001 Magazine (upstairs). You are invited and encouraged to attend.
