Last night (4/17/16) at about 11:55 p.m. there was an armed robbery at Loyola and Octavia Street. The victim was a delivery driver and had just made a delivery in the 5500 block of S. Saratoga Street. The victim left that location and pulled over at Loyola and Octavia to count his money. While stopped at this location two unknown black males approached the victim’s vehicle and pointed a weapon at the victim and demanded the money. The victim complied and gave them the money.

The two unknown subjects were wearing dark colored clothing and hoodies. The wanted subjects fled on foot up Octavia Street towards the river making good the escape. The victim returned back to the business on Ferret Street and then notified the police of the incident. The Second District is handling the investigation.
